Why Patients Choose Us

What Makes GardenCity Smiles Different

Dental clinics are everywhere in Bangalore. Here is what sets GardenCity Smiles apart — in the things that actually matter to you as a patient.

American Board Certified Specialist

Dr. Deepthi Kalahasti holds one of dentistry’s highest qualifications — an American Board Certification in Orofacial Pain. Very few dentists in Bangalore hold this credential.

Digital Dentistry — No Guesswork

We use iTero digital impressions, CAD/CAM same-day crowns, CBCT 3D scanning, and rotary endodontics. Treatments are faster, more precise, and more comfortable than traditional methods.

Sterilisation You Can Trust

Every instrument is sterilised in an autoclave after every patient. We follow international infection control protocols — your safety is non-negotiable.

Gentle, Anxiety-Free Care

We explain every step before we begin. No surprises, no rushing. Many patients who were previously afraid of dentists tell us GardenCity Smiles changed their experience completely.

Monday–Saturday, 9:30 AM–7:30 PM

We are open six days a week including evenings, making it easy for working professionals and students in Yelahanka and North Bangalore to access quality dental care.

Treating Families Across Yelahanka

From children’s first dental visits to complex full-mouth rehabilitation for seniors — we treat the whole family under one roof at GardenCity Smiles.

Replacing Missing Teeth

A missing tooth is never just about appearance — it affects how you eat, speak, and how the rest of your teeth align.

Many patients in India live with missing teeth for years, assuming replacement is too expensive or complicated. At GardenCity Smiles, we offer options for every situation and budget — from simple removable dentures to permanent implants that last a lifetime.

Saving Infected or Damaged Teeth

Most teeth that patients think need extraction can actually be saved. Root canal treatment has an unfair reputation — modern RCT is nothing like the stories you may have heard.

Tooth pain from infection is one of the most common reasons people visit us. The fear of root canal treatment stops many patients from seeking care early, which always makes the problem worse and more expensive to fix. At GardenCity Smiles, most root canals are completed in a single comfortable appointment.

Treating Gum Disease

Bleeding gums are not normal. They are a sign of infection — and left untreated, gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults across India.

Studies suggest over 80% of Indian adults have some degree of gum disease. It is painless in the early stages, which means most people don’t realise they have it until significant damage has already occurred. The earlier we catch it, the simpler and more successful the treatment.

TMJ & Jaw Pain Treatment

Jaw pain, clicking, headaches on waking, earache with no infection — these are TMJ symptoms that dentists trained in orofacial pain can diagnose and treat.

TMJ disorders are widely underdiagnosed in India. Many patients see multiple doctors for headaches, ear pain, or facial pain without realising the jaw joint is the source. Dr. Deepthi Kalahasti is an American Board Certified Orofacial Pain Specialist — one of the very few practitioners in Bangalore with specialist-level TMJ training.

Questions from Patients

Things Patients Ask Before Booking

Straight answers — no dental jargon.

I have tooth pain. What should I do first?

Call us on 9663823300 for a same-day or next-day appointment. Tooth pain always has a cause — decay, infection, crack, or gum disease — and early treatment is simpler and less expensive than waiting. Take paracetamol or ibuprofen for temporary relief, but do not delay the appointment.

How do I know if I need a root canal or an extraction?

In most cases, a root canal is better than extraction because it saves your natural tooth. An extraction leaves a gap that causes adjacent teeth to drift and bone to shrink. We always assess whether the tooth can be saved before recommending extraction.

Is dental treatment at GardenCity Smiles expensive?

We believe quality dental care should be accessible. We offer transparent treatment plans with all costs stated upfront — no surprises. Payment plans are available for larger treatments. Treating problems early is always significantly less expensive than treating them after they worsen.

I am scared of dental treatment. Can you still help me?

Absolutely. Many of our patients were anxious about dental treatment before visiting us. We explain every step before beginning, never rush, and use the most comfortable techniques available. Local anaesthesia ensures you feel no pain. We also offer sedation for patients who need extra support.

My gums bleed when I brush. Is that serious?

Bleeding gums are always a sign of infection (gingivitis or periodontitis) — not normal. The good news is that early gum disease is completely reversible with professional cleaning and improved home care. Do not ignore it — advanced gum disease leads to tooth loss.

How often should I come for a dental check-up?

Every 6 months for most adults. Patients with active gum disease, high cavity risk, or ongoing TMJ treatment may need more frequent visits. Regular check-ups detect problems when they are small and inexpensive to treat.
